Arkansas Pathology Associates

  Flow Cytometry
The Flow Cytometry Laboratory at Arkansas Pathology Associates offers a wide array of panels for classifying lymphomas and leukemias, immunophenotyping of T cell subsets, identification of platelet antibodies, and diagnosis of PNH.

The Flow Cytometry Lab utilizes three color analysis for bone marrows and tissues. This has allowed better distribution of the stained cells for analysis and interpretation. The pathologist utilizes the bone marrow differential to determine if further studies are necessary.

DNA analysis is performed on body fluids, tissues, and paraffin-embedded tissue blocks. This analysis includes the DNA Index and %S Phase with the pathologist interpretation.

Flow Cytometry results with pathologist interpretation are available within 24 hours after specimen is received.
