Arkansas Pathology Associates, P.A. is a group of 10 pathologists with a freestanding, independent laboratory. Our group is located in Little Rock, Arkansas and has provided pathology services since the mid 1920’s representing over 130 years of combined experience in tissue pathology, cytology and laboratory medicine. We consider our prompt and accurate handling of pap smears and biopsies one of the foundations of our practice. Our group services many hospitals and physicians’ offices around the state. We incorporate extensive quality control and quality assurance practices in all phases of the testing process.
The primary role of our pathologists is to examine specimens of cells, tissues, organs and body fluids in order to identify disease states. In addition, our pathologists provide medical supervision to the clinical laboratory; consultative services in related clinical-pathological patient care settings, and participate in research.
